it depends what state you live in. some states only allow suboxone to be prescribed for withdrawls. which means youll only get them for a month or 2. and other states, like MO (where i live, can prescribe them for daily use with cravings. depending on the type of things going on in my life i am prescribed 60-120 per month.

DONT SNORT THESE. this medication is meant to help people get heir lives back. which is exactly whats it done with me. though i also frequent NA meetings.

you can snort suboxone. I was started on 16 mg. of sub a day. Im down to 2 mg. a day and I read a bout the % of intake. sublingual is 30, snorting is 50, and analy is 100.Youll be fine if you snort it as long as it is under 8mg, if your dose is, then wait 30 min between each dose. I went online to see who could prescribe subs and a map will come up for your area. Just set up an app. If you dont have insurance Im gonna tell you right now, that shit's expensive.But it WILL help.

man you are really screwing people out of money. My suboxone dr. does not charge a bullshit consultation fee of 250$ that's outragous then you want $175 for the actual visit monthly for $450 w/o the suboxone which will cost the patient in the $800 a month. HAHA you are really trying to pull some bullshit on addicts. I see a cardiologist for my subs and there is NO CONSULTAION FEE, NO MONTHLY FEE, AND NO RIDICULOUS PRICES!!! I see my doctor once every two or three months at $80 per visit, he also with cooporation from Reckitt Benckiser(the pharm company that manufactures Suboxone/Subutex) got me a free years supply of Suboxone 60 8mg per month free. Basically i pay about 350$ a year for my subs. You just gotta find the right doc psyciatrists arent the only ones that can prescribe it as i said i get mine from a cardiologist. I have seen outragous prices like yours before please guys dont fall for it look around and you can get your subs cheap. And for everyones info 2 patients out of however many the doctor prescribing subs has can get it for free for a year just ask your doc about it. DONT FALL FOR THIS KINDA SCAM SHIT! Honestly i was in a methadone clinic for 3yrs and sub now almost 1yr sub is better you have it always with you no clinic visits but if you are gonna pay 800$ i would just go to a methadone clinic if you are too lazy to find the sub cheap.

Snorting it will burn & that's not going to get you high! It has a limit to the highness you will feel, no matter if you melt 1 or 3 under your tounge, the way this medication is made is so people clean and not abuse it. It's compounded let's say like a speedball effect, like if you were to snort some 30's and then smoke some rock, you would be high but not to geeked or nodding, it's made so both drugs naxalone & buprinepherne attatch to you brain recepters and nock the opiates off, then the combo of both the nax & bup will attach and stay attached much longer, therefore taking your dope sickness away! I have to say I thought oxy was the best thing in the world, take a pill work hard all day movong heavy equipment all day with no pain, sleep good at night. It was like an energy pill for me the first year, then the guy with the big monthly script "260 x 30mfwho worked for me quit. Day 3 without was living hell, felt like my skin was peeling off. I was out of blues and needed something, found it on the street @$10-15 each it got to be an expensive habit quick!$300-500 easy a week, after 3 months and $5000 later I discovered this magical 8mg hexagon orange pill. Melted of away and I felt like a man again, 15 subs & 23 days later I was off and clean, honestly the truth from the bottom of my heart, I was a man/dad/husband again here it is 5 months later and I am dope free and loving my life again. Not like before when I was a stupid user, honestly these pills saved my life in a way. If your a user and want to get clean and me your old self again, get on suboxone and use it correctly. I have gotten high as hell on SUBOXONE, so yes you can get a buzz but i have asked around and there is only a small prercent of people who it effects like that. I guess just try it and you will definatly know soon after taking it if you are feeling anything.

You can def get high off suboxone, I have been a long time user of opiates. They say with low tolerance you will get high, my tolerance is anything but low and I took 3-4 mg's and I was nodding out, itching like crazy, and it lasted a good 10-12 hours or so.. The answer is yes, you can get high off suboxone..

And BTW, I didnt intend to get high, I am on these to stop doing opiates, not chase another high, with no end in site.. But yeah they def can get you high.. Ill report back in a couple weeks. From what I hear the "high" will only last a week or so.. Ill let you guys know...

i am taking 8 mg subutex an not getting high. quitting oxys hard enough only a couple days in and need to gradually come off mental high i dont get it .. i thought these got u a lilo high too?? help should i snort it?

I would not snort them as they will give even less effect this way. They are suppose to only be dissolved under the tounge and they do not get you high. They may give you a bit of a high the first couple of doses but that is it. These are to get you clean not to help you get high.

I would say the best thing to do is keep yourself very busy doing everything you can to keep your mind off of the oxy. I wish you the best of luck.

I snort Suboxone and it blows me away. Snort half a pill or if you are big into drugs (opiates), snort the whole pill.

Yes usually there is initial visit you have to do and the cost varies. For example like me without insurance it was $200.00 for the first visit and from there on it was 60 per visit after that plus the cost of medication.

Suboxone isn't cheap it's right along the lines of the cost of OxyOntin retail from the pharmacy.

Then depending on how low you maintain your dose is how much in medication you're going to buy each month. I got myself down to 2mg a day after the first week so my medication costs are low. So around 100 per month sounds about right for me without insurance.

I hope that gives you a good ballpark figure on around what you'll expect to spend for it. And i tell you what Subs are much better than Methadone unless you're in pain but it's a fantastic medication. Good luck to you..

I've just started the Suboxone treatment and my doctor didn't ask about drug test of any kind in the first appt. But I was asked to provide a urine sample a week later, then a 3 week later, etc. It is for doctor to be sure you are not using anything. I just didn't understand why you keep yourself in withdrawl for a days, all you need it is going to see the doctor and get your Suboxone to work with all unpleasant symptoms? Anyway, I wish you a good luck in your recovery!

come on will ya, we have dealt with more pain than a bad taste. how about when were trying to findd a vein, just poking gaway at our arms.poke poke poke. snort snort snort. i tink the only way to get high, which u can cause i was high as shit for the first two weeks is try to take breaks in between dosages. you know, helps keep ur tolerance down. i just snorted 4mg and im feelin fine. a bit buzzzed
