Real Pain Management Doctor In Baltimore, Maryland

I don't abuse drugs or alcohol, never have, never will and I am tired of being treated like a pill addict. I am looking for a Pain Management Doctor who will listen to my needs. I understand there are issues with oxycodone, but that is what I take, that is what works, and I am very sensitive to medications and choose not to be a pill guinnie pig for any doctor. I am sick of landing in the ER, because Injection happy doctors choose not to give you your meds that work, but rather insist that injections are better. BULLCRAP!!! I took dilaudid for years and oxycodone is a step down from that, but works well for me. Does not give me that loopy overly tired, not able to function feeling. I found a Dr. in towson, but I am not going to sit in a waiting room for five hours just to have them inject me somemore and than finally send me on my way with my medication. Best part is, they want you in 30 mins prior to your appoinment. I guess that's just to P u off more. RIDICULOUS!!!! does anyone know of a decent dr. who cares about their patient and will listen to their needs??

Advanced pain management in columbia MD or Rockville Dr Sherlaker, all dr's in the practice are great. They give you what works for you, they have and office in Frederick also. And you do not wait long.

Hi. In response to the comment about Advanced Pain Management... that was actually my worst experience ever. i had a gas pedal go thru my foot and have extreme pain and trouble walking without medicine. Iv tried many forms of treatment. i told advanced pain my issues and the only med they would give me was morphine which made me extremely sick.. they refused to change it or try and other form of medicine for me. i was very unhappy. i am still currently looking for a doctor that will actually help me and like the previous person said.. isnt injection happy...

I know this is very late but I had to drop my previous doctor due to personal issues with her. I was later dropped by my medical insurance because I had to get medications on the street and couldn't afford both. I've been doing research on dr. Sherlaker in Rockville. But since I have been forced to get pain relief on the streets I can barely afford to pay any of my bills. Does this doctor do drug tests because I will obviously be dirty but I have no choice as i broke my back 5 years ago. Also do they require mri's or do they perform them in the office. Again I know this is late but if u could help I would really appreciate it.

Hi all!! This may help some of you, but I finally found a descent pain management group in White Marsh. It's called smart pain management. Now if you are looking to abuse your meds, forget it, but if you truly want pain relief, they will write your scripts, but will also want you to try a tens unit and some other good things, NOT just injections. Dr. Kornbluth and Dr. Raj are really nice guys. You should at least give it a try, what do you have to lose RIGHT??
