opana 30mg er and oxycontin 20 tid

OK this is a bit unexpected. Have been on Opana for 3 months now (was on mscontin, morphine, etc) before opana. I was on the 20mgs and it was ok for pain. I was having breakthrough pain, but the btp meds were not doing much (norco 10/325). So my doctor has me switching from the opana to oxycontin. I started it yesterday, I take Oxy in the am and pm with opana at lunch for the next two days, then I will stop the opana. I know that opana is x times stronger that even oxy. Well, I am now on my 2nd day with oxy and the pain control is great, I also have to report difficulty in concentration. Basically, I feel stoned. It is all I can do to keep my concentration as I type. I had taken oxy a few years back and I don't remember feeling like this. I hope this goes away
Any suggestions, experiences you would care to share?

Dude, Opana is way stronger than Oxycontin, it's a mix of oxycodone and morphine. My friend and I used to mix Oxycontin and Morphine and called it "Homepana", but it wasn't as good as the mix from the pharmacy! Opana is awesome dude, awesome.

Sorry, I just reread your post and now I feel like a moron. Never mixed it like that (oxy in the am - opana in the pm). Sounds pretty good though!

No worries and opana is great...I was taking the 30mgs but had to stop...I was scratching myself silly, so it's to oxycontin

Companies that make our most popular painkillers are intentionally putting stuff in them that has no value at all but to damage your liver. A big class action suit for everyone with liver damage is only right and those who has no damage but took them legally. It still is the intent of the companies that make them to cause you harm. You should see a lawyer if you want in on this

can anyone tell me what the conversion or equlvalancy of a 30mg opana er to a roxicodone? ie: how many roxi's does it take to equal an opana 30mg
