Shooting/Injecting Oxy.....?

I need some intelegent input. I have been on OC's and other opiate treatment for years due to chronic pain in my back. having said that...

I want to try shooting it. I know there is a mob that will jump on this thread and give me a 100 reasons why I a stupid.
im not looking for that.

Im looking for some real advise and my main question is;

how soluble are the IR oxycodone's? Can they be shot?

I know the originals can be shot I have seen it.

What is the most fatal part about shooting? just the chance that one might injest a higher dose than used to? because I have a tolerance like no other

and the other reason Im looking at the alternative is my nose is about to fall off from 7 years of putting stuff up it.

if u can get ur doc to give u quick realse morhine thats the best to shoot, even better than oc. the only oc u can shoot is the real ones the abg will turn to gell as soon as u heat them up.the most fatal part of shooting is using to much, start by shooting half of what u snort, and just because the high doesnt last as long it doesnt mean its out of ur blood, so be carefull if u think its to much it probablly is

Get some flipping treatment! Did you read your post??? Have you decided that death is the wise choice with your prescription meds?

Think about your choice, whether or not you want someone to tell you to think about shooting your meds too bad, I am telling you to think before you put the needle in your arm.

GET HELP!!!!! Life can actually be worth living if your not in a flipping fog!!!!!

well Tamadrummer thanks for wasting your time writing that response. Its the "D.A.R.E" effect that causesd kids not listen to the dangers of doing drugs and do it. its better to educate people about the dangers with detail rather than responding like that of yourself or "just say no".

but seriously thanks to Tom Kincaid for your educating input, I appreciate it.

I like to experiment with things, to see the effects for myself. anyway...

to fallow up on my post. I did try it last night.
The IR's consistancy became too thick to draw from after I heated it (however it was soluble at first). Then I tried with one of my 20MG "footballs" Those turned into gell right as they mixed with water like they were designed to(insoluble).

at the end I did half of a green ABG 80 and it worked fine. then I tried a quarter of OC 80 and that worked the same.

having that said... I do about 3 80's via nasal a night,
and after my experimentation I wasnt too pleased.
I did feel a bit of a rush though, but I dont think its worth all the risk for me personally.

I will inject when I get my hands on a vial of ready to inject solution

Well being selfish and not giving a crap about your family nor yourself says a ton for you. You will just end up in a bag soon enough and it is because of you and many others like you that it is so ridiculous for those of us that are in pain managment to find a doctor that is willing to risk their liscense on dispensing meds for people with chronic pain.

Since you don't care, I guess whenever you end up in the black bag the family you have probably shouldn't care either since you feel justified to abuse to the extent you are.

hey man. ill tell you how to slam them. get a syrenge. fill it with 1cc water. crush the pill like your going to snort it. and scoop it into a spoon. spray the water in the spoon with the oxy. put a lghter to it. let it boil for 3 seconds or so..drop a cotton ball the size of a pea in. put the needle tip onto the cotton and pull th plunger back. ENJOY.

I've been shooting oxy's for bout 2.5 years. ABG's work just fine, but the brand OC's work waaayyyy better. I also shoot 30mg oxycodone (roxicet), but honestly they are better to insufulate (snort). I keep Methadone on hand in case I run out...YOU NEED A CONTINGENCY PLAN!!!! If you can score methadone or subutex, horde it. For you will run out and going out to score smack is too risky.

I've been on oxy's for almost 2 years now, due to avascular necrosis, degenerative arthritis, peripheral neuropathy, and other pains related to being HIV+...My resistance (plus tolerance from being on them so long) is extremely high.

I take about 5-8 of the 80s at a time, two - sometimes 3 - times a day, to barely any results. I've tried snorting them before, but with that many pills at a time, snorting becomes out of the question for me. A pill or two into it, I sneeze when I go for the 3rd one...thus blowing the crushed pill everywhere. Never tried shooting it, cuz I hate needles with a passion.

The most effective method for me has been using a pill cutter n chopping them into quarters, n taking them like that. Tho I would have to agree that the Purdue brand OC's work alot better than the ABG (Watson) versions....the Watson-ABG versions work alot better than the other generics (such as Teva - the football shaped ones).

There was another generic a pharmacy I had to use carried too, where the pill was orange, didn't even recognize the generic brand's name...but those ones sucked.

Thanks... but i found out he was shooting up going to the bathroom 6 times a day for 30 mins at a time was a give away then i caught him doing it in our garage he won't stop for me so hopefully he'll stop for himself but thank you anyway. Now his arms all gross and has a bump where he put the needle in!!

Do yourself a huge favor and any future children you may have. GET OUT NOW!!

Once this monster creeps in, it is in the back of the mind forever. I am speaking from secondhand experience. I watched a friend in a 6 figure a year job, whom I had no clue ever had a history with drugs and was also a deacon in the local baptist church go off the deep end after 7 years of being on the wagon and lose everything basically overnight.(About 10 months) But his kids and wife suffered because she thought he was cured and got him treatment, work brought him back and he was clean for about 6 months and he relapsed after 3 months and I left the job so I don't know what happened to him after that.

The moral of the story is get out now!! You aren't married, don't have children with him and have no actual reason to stay with him. Love is a passing fart in the wind when it comes to this kind of a situation. Please heed this warning. You will pay a serious penalty in life if you stay with this guy and your family will get dragged into something they never knew they had coming to them.

Yea its easy to say that but its so hard to leave someone when there like that i hope to try and get him some help i hes the only one in my life that loves and cares for me i kno hes doing this and its hurting me but he does still love me and i want to be there for him in his time of need the reason hes gone this far is cuz hes going through a lot for the past 2 years his life has been getting worse and worse! and then he was introduced to something that could numb his pain which is sad i know and he just lost a place to sleep because of it so hes going to be on the streets because he has no one but me and he doesn't have a job becuz of this drug doesn't have a family to turn to becuz they have given up on him. Every single person in his life has given up on him and im the only thing he has besides our cat... I know your probably giving me good advice and when im older i will look back i wish i would have taken it but i don't have the heart to just leave him this drug has taken over him and i know the real person behind the OC and i know how great he is when hes not thinking about drugs so i'm going to try and stick it out and hopefully things may get better i don;t know thank you for ur advice

You do what you feel is necessary but I hope that you can stay clean and also not involve your family in this. They are not treatment.

Treatment centers are treatment and that is the only place that can actually help your boyfriend and ala-non is the only place that can help you! All you are doing right now is making things worse by draining whatever resources you may have to feed the OC habit and then when it is time for treatment there wont be any money and the people that could help won't because they will be tired of tiring to help.

This is not anyone but yours and his situation, please keep it that way. I really wish you good luck and keep the Doctors words in mind. He will sell you into slavery for a fix (i.e. prostitution) if possible.

Sammy, Don't let people tell you what to do. If you seriously believe in your boyfriend and love him, talk to him about getting help and make him choose. Either drugs or you.

I'm speaking on behalf of your boyfriend from his stand point because I'm in his shoes right now. My Girl friend who I love very much presented me with this option. I decided to stay w her and get help.(Suboxone-Treatment) is the bomb and it really works. check it out. I'm much happier for doing so, and all my problems have gone away socially and finacially. Ultimatly its up to him and you gota make him decide, but let him know your there for him if he decides to do it because hes gana need you bad!

And Tama drumer... I know your just trying to be a good guy and let people know about the evils there getting into, but honestly these guys dont give a shiat! this is a injection thread you dumb ass! Step off
