Oxycontin & Morphine.

Which drug if you were given the choice would you take?

I have been given the choice by my doctor to have Morphine or Oxycontin pills for pain.

Is Morphine stronger than Oxycontin or Oxycontin stronger than Morphine?

Which one makes you feel better with a nice buzz?

Has anyone out there tried Morphine pills?

Can you chew them?
Snort them?
Smoke them?
Inject them?

Which are stronger Morphine or Oxycontin.

I think I might try the Morphine pills starting next week.

ive tried a morphine pill once a little brown one. i prefer oxy with a passion, and the way that i choose is to snort, but next time i get some i think i will smoke some.

I have a friend who takes opana and has taken oxys and opana he said is the best. Isnt opana essentially morpine?

I dont know, Oxys were my favorite, always was and never will be again. but, whatcha gonna do? just told my hubby to make sure if like I am ready to die or something to give me an 80 and a smoke and let me go out the best way.

i dont know never tried opana but heard that it doesnt make you feel euphoric like oxy does

Yes fortunately or unfortunatley, I guess it depends on the day. I used suboxone to get of a 400mg oxcy habit a day. Course i worked me way up to that but then you most likely know that.
I miss it and havent used since Oct of 2007. The suboxones I just got off of. Those are some addicting little effers themselves but would do it all over again. My physc got me of the subs and now I am on more pils that ever!!

As we all know pills are NEVER the problem, but the symptom of. I have depresion and major anxiety. Physc says my anxiety is 15 on a scale of 1-10. Starting to feel better physically and even mentally, its the making amends part especialyy at ho,e that sucks the most.

This shit goes way past us.
How bout you, mins sharing your story. And dont leave out the details okay? LOL.You can trust me, hell I have spent more time on this forum.....its my version of N/A when I cant get there

i just started using oxy a year ago. i only do 80-100 mgs. a day. my addiction is more mental than physical. my ang my gf use together and hers is very physical, she gets really sick. i feel like i could stop but my mind makes me really want it. i was never really into drugs before this i would just smoke weed and drink. now i dont do either at all. i guess the feeling of oxy is just so good i dont want anything else. i mainly just sniff it and have never injected anything. i have never tried heroin.

Yeah, you sound like me. I used to be a wine drinker and once I got on the ox I would have maybe one glass when I used to be able to sit down and drink an whole bottle. Check out suboxone.com just for info even if you keep it in the back of a drawer somewhere. Enjoy your fun with oxcys, lord knows I did, but there will come a day, just get your plan B before you get to deafcon 5 like I did. Hope to talk to you lots. stick around. Thanks for the input it sounds like Morphine is not as strong and doesn't last as long.

I am going to try them anyway and see what happens.

Will give a report next week on the comparison.

Opana is Oxymorphone, much different than morphine. Oxymorphone is about 7x stronger than morphine. It is pretty much the strongest pain killer on the market other than fentanyl.

Opana is very euphoric, if taken the right way. It is pretty much useless when taken orally, and snorting it isn't that much better. When taken orally or snorted, I prefer oxycodone. But if injected.... Opana is the king of all opiates. A shot of opana is just as good as heroin. In my opinion, 4mg of IV oxymorphone is better than 60mg of IV oxycodone

right on kmk yeah i have never tried opana or injecting anything, but i did hear that it is a very strong opiate but just not as euphoric as oxy

Are you all crazy?? Exchanging information on how to snort or inject oxcycotin and morphine pills!!!! You obviously both have very serious addictions and you need to seek professional help immediatley!!! I just had a friend overdose from taking these medications illegally and for recreational use! I hope you all can wakeup and realize that your ruining your bodies and your life one pill at a time!

I have tried all the pills availible and it depends on what mg of morphine your getting oxycontin is a synthetic high and morphine is natural and i prefere doing morphine i just got a 200mg of morphine and its really nice its more of a body high and its also in your head but it helps with pain and it gets you very high.

Im happy that you quit OC. I actually just quit and have been almost 2 weeks sober. I did it for about a couple years, and was used to 240mg a day, so I would smoke 3 80s a day, sometimes 4 if I had the money. I have suboxone but I miss smoking that so much already. How did you go so long? Did you just take subs to keep the temptation down? I found a bag of 60mg morphine pills, and am contemplating doing them. But I dont know. I dont want to pop them,or snort them. I want to smoke them. Thats why I was reading this forum, I tried smoking one, a long time ago, and remember it being a waste. I would take OC anyday over Morphine. It just sucks because those pills are so good. Damn I miss them. My story was that my family found out I was still doing OCs and pretty much gave me an intervention. I quit. But the only reason that I quit is because of how much they are , and how I am always broke because of it. Believe me if I knew someone that would hook em up for dirt cheap, or even free, Id probably be on them right now. And If I were to be dieing, I would smoke em til im gone. I feel you on that.

I was given morphine after 2 especially painful surgeries. In both cases it didn't make a dent in the post-op pain and they switched me demerol, which worked a LOT better . . .
