cutting 80mg oxycontin

hey all, ive got an 80mg oxycontin and i dont want to take the full dose at once..

so if i cut them into slices, will that lower the oxycodone count for each slice?

and if i grind it all up and insufflate only a tiny amount, that will also lower the amount of oxycodone, correct?

what do u mean? cut it in half and u have 40mg, cut in into quarters and u have 20 mgs each. yes that lowers the mgs.

To answer your original question, no it will not lower the dose. It can be lethal because you are defeating the protection of the extended release med by cutting it and making it imediate release vs. extended.

DO NOT SELL YOUR DRUGS!!!!!! If you get caught, it will be hard time and no meds from a doctor for life. If you need your medicine, use it. If you don't, than DONT get it because it is making life suck for those of us that siffer from chronic pain and the world is trying to take the meds away from us because of you!

OMAR, You make me SICK! Obviously you have no idea how destructive Oxycontin is and how addictive it is. It destroys lives, and as far as i am concerned there is no difference between you and the pusher who slings dope to kids! I have also had people push myself to sell them my 80mg Oxycontin(I receive 120 a month). I could easily make $780.00. in a day. I don't sell because I am not a drug pusher. I hope for the sake of all pain patients and the people that you are selling to and the families of the people that are addicts that you sell to that you go to the big house for a long time and the news makes a huge story of this so that other dealers of pain meds see what happens when folks misuse badly needed pain medication for the wrong reasons.

It would be great for you to stop and redeem yourself and get a real job paying taxes and earning a living like the rest of the hard working americans that are not drug pushers selling drugs and making it harder on us that depend on medication to make it day by day in less pain than the days we did not have pain meds.

One more thing I forgot he ripped her off for her whole ssi check! he lives in idaho, he is a true nut.I wish I would have known before she did this i possibly could have got her to a doctor and saved hre life..he claims to have cancer as well that made my friend feel so horrible she was sending him her pain meds besides her drugs I wish someone would do the same to him,he cried to her that he was hurting so bad.She was so kind hearted .How can jonathan holcom live with himself .The police are investigating ,but she was a consenting adult .i'm praying he wasn't .i can't imaginge a grown adult being so cruel,but then maybe I'm being naive.
