oxycontin....can this be?

im the same way man... its less of a mindfuck, more of just a recreatioinal somethin.... similar to smoking herbs. my buddy just learned how to extract all the oxycodone out of percacet,and seperate it from the tylenol and make pretty much pure oxycontin. we have some in a water base, in some in powder form... that shit is too weird, has anyone ever tried this?

I have a cousin who dose oxys all the time along with pot and alcohol and nothing seems to be wrong with him i think it all matters who you are if it bothers you or not.

hey man as an x addict ill just give u some basic advice. Be there for ur friends even if its just a phone call or whatever. Even if they dont answer they will know u care. Just dont give em any money or support there habbit in any way which means a lift to get a fix or spotting money for it. This way here they will know u care but disapprove

Main point: Buyer beware. Each time you use oxycontin, there is no guarantee that you'll wake up to "feel like crap" the next day.
If you have a problem deal with it, before it deals with you. There are many ways to have a good time, without involving narcotics. Smoke Pot, drink alcohol, but when you mess with opiods, or cocaine you're just being stupid.

MDa, Eric was talking about shooting/banging the pill! if the pill was designed for that, the FDA would have told them to leave it in liquid form! It was meant to be swallowed whole! if it was designed for snorting theyd have left it a powder! it just so happens that the maker knew it would be abused(and increase sales) so they put the T/R on the outside only, so it could be wiped clean! a shady plan to increase (addiction/abuse) but eric was talking about shooting it , something the fda wasnt prepared for! so his comments could very well be correct

My boyfriend smokes OC and just about four days ago he told me his friend had started shooting up! Now I think that he has started to shoot it up hes acting weird and just not being his normal self. I was just wondering if anyone knew what it looks like after they shoot up and any info that could possibly help me. I've asked him so many times he just keeps denying it i checked the usual spots where people shoot up but he looked fine but i really don't know what I'm looking for and i really need some help. I want to stop this from going any further!!! I

I'm a norco addict I take between 7 to 10 yellow watson 10)325 per day. well I ran out for the first time and my connect gave me oxy 80mg five of em. I don't want a new addiction. I don't want to get sick. I'm scared of od'ing. everyone says on here not to crush pill and take half but I don't know if I have tolerance for whole thing or if I will b dopesick an hour after taking it any advice would b appreciated I loathe myself right now for being so weak.

minnie I have no right to give anyone advice but I would say don't take it. Wait till later and if your feeling really bad maybe break it in half. I just read what Eric posted back in Oct. and I have decided I am going to give it my best shot TODAY not to ever crush another one. I will take as I am suppose to and will try to cut back every day {take one less today and hopefully one less tom.} When my doc put me on these things I cryed and begged him not to take me off the Vicodins and he told me my liver would just shut down on me if I stayed on the vics { no warnig at all it would shut down and kill me, little did I know at the time these would kill me slowely}. About one year after being on these I was watching the evening news and his face was plastered on the TV he was arrested for distibuting oxys {you can google his name Dr. Douglas Howard 57 yr old doc in Wakefield MA}. I think I know now why he wanted me on them so badly. he also operated on me and I had a failed surgery I have to wonder if he was high that morning. So please minnie if you can go without it try to. Good Luck I am sorry I got into this long story. And I want to thank Eric for opening my eyes a little this morning. There are alot of very helpful people here and I am very thankful that I found this site.

if you cut into even 1/4s there no stronger than 2 perc 10s at one time... I promise you that, its an 80 mg percocet w/ time release, if there brand OC or ABG itll be exactly the same as perc if its generic itll be a lil weaker than 2 perc 10s... thats cutting in 4 equal pieces (razoer blade, make an X through it) You will be no worse off than the 10mg X(2) your using already, its perc 80S w/o tylenol....

you are right saboxine is still another form of herion. but in studys they have proven that saboxine not only is no where near as addictive as oc it also is very much harder to OD on. i think they say its almost inposible to OD on. so yea saboxine is an opiod like heroin but it doesnt carry the same traits as oc.

your comments above were about vics,perks and oxxy, being forms of heroine, not many od on vics/perks/ not near the H stats or oxy stats, thats the comment, it was about you making a statementthat was unfair/wrong...

I have been reading in different forums for the past week. I contacted an online help center, to give me a list of doctors or clinics that will treat oxycontin and perc withdrawl outpatient. They were very helpful and I found quite a few in my local area. I have abusing pills for about 7 years. It started with an occasional vicodin or perc. I was dating a guy at the time that had back issues and I picked up the habit due to his easy access. He eventually received Methadone and I received an addiction with them. I started working with someone that also rec. methadone and norco. Access was so easy. What I didn't realize was I was digging myself deeper. I was alwasy very careful with the methadone. I never took over 10-15 mg. a day. Eventually I split with the guy and quit my job for a better one. My access was eliminated, but my addiction was not. I meet a wonderful straight and narrow guy and got married in 2003. He had no idea about anything that was going on and still does not. He would never understand. So,last August, with no access to the drug, I decided to withdrawl at home by myself from methadone. For two weeks, I was in the most enduring pain I have ever felt. Very sick and swore I would never touch methadone again. I did tell my mom what was going on. I was getting ready to start a new job and needed some relief due to practically no sleep for about 3 weeks. She talked me into going to our family practioner, no insurance. he was very understanding. He gave me 90 clondine a month and ambien to sleep. It really helped with sleeping and aniexty. At this poing I was done with the physical withdrawl, I was just dealing with the mental issues. I stayed clean for awhile. Before to long I meet with a friend that was getting oxycontins and perc. I swore I would only take the percs and not touch the oxys. well, didn't happen. I get a considerable amount of oxys a month from friend. I take a 40mg tab and split in 4-10s. I take 10mg. in morning and 10mg in afternoon, with an occasional 7.5 per I split in half with am and pm dose. I can feel my tolerance creeping up more and more. so, i am pondering help with suboxene and clonodine at an outpatient clinin or doctore. A little nervous about this just waiting for the right time. See, i will be married 3 years in summer, and will be close to 30 soon. I want a family which means I have to get clean. There is no way I would ever bring a child into this world addicted. Not to mention my husband knows nothing of this.
