Especially if u are talking about oxycodone and not oxycotin. Codone is so much lower than opana. U must have just hit the seen or r young cause u r way off. Truthfully though, Fentinal is ten time better than both. Read up on ur shit man. Then u can talk with the big boys!!!

Here in Mass you can get an 8 mg sub for 10$ and have it last you for 2 days without feeling much if any OC withdrawal..Give it a shot. -Anonymus *1 week on subs and not feeling any oc withdrawal*

Also, some people may get a buzz from subs, other's do not. It depends on the dosage, the tolerance of the individual, and the individual's chemical makeup as to how they will react to suboxone. I am glad that you are successfully off oc's and on subs, best of luck to you :)

Some of us take them to help pain, not just for the eurphoric effect of the meds.I have had 3 brain surgeries in the past 2 1/2 years and have been about every opiate out there.I am currently taking opana 40ER 3 times a day and 30mg of oxycodone 4 times a day for break through pain.I had previously been on 80mg of oxycontin 3x a day. I have to say, the opana works much better and lasts much longer. My Dr. prescribes opana quite frequently and I have yet to talk to one of his patients that feel they did better with the oxycontin.Maybe when you are in true pain, the effect is different. In a blind study of cancer patients, people prefered opana by an 8 to 1 ratio.

From what I have read on this forum, pain meds definitely affect PP's differently from those who are taking opiates for recreational reasons. If those who use opiates ever had the true need for them, they would really be in trouble, what with their tolerance & preoccupation for feeling "high". Incidentally, those who take opiates for recreational reasons have a 85% chance of becoming addicted to them, & those who take opiates for pain have about a 10% chance of becoming addicted. I'm sorry for your pain, I know what it is to live with unbearable pain, and opiates being a necessity to get through the day, it sux, and I hope that things get better for you :) peace&love J

I agree about Opana. It has helped me better than anything else. I was in a car accident in 2005 and, in addition to many other injuries, I fractured my pelvis in eight places, had spiral fractures of both my femurs, punctured both lungs, and fractured my c1 and f4 vertebrae. I have taken just about everything out there and Opana definitely works the best for managing my pain. I try to switch every 120 to 180 days because, as we all know, you build a tolerance to every opiate. I recommend Fentanyl in my post above because I have "reserved" it for those times when I am switching meds and need something to help get me through, thus I have never used the patches for more than 10 days to 2 weeks. This system has been working well for about the last 2 1/2 years.
