ortho tri-cyclen

my pharmacist told me that ortho tri-cyclen had been recalled and that she would have to put me on a generic form of it. i was wondering if anyone knew why it was pulled from the shelf.

yes. stop. i have been on it for a while and it sucks. i can live with the cramps- i can take medications. i can use other types of birth control- the patch, condoms, etc. i don't care if my period is irregular- who cares? its not like its anyone elses business. if you have problems with any of the above, keep taking it. otherwise stop. it causes lightheadedness, nausea, depression, and i've been crying a lot over stupid stuff. stop taking it. the same stuff has happened with a lot of my friends

I had a severe DVT blood clot while I was on the Ortho Tri-Cyclen pill, which has left me with 2 stents in my vein and a leg that is larger than the other. I was 23 years old and extremely healthy. Does anyone know any class action lawsuits for this? I've heard of the patch having it. Does the pill too?

Ortho Tri-Cyclen left both my arms and legs with nasty rashes..I have a different type of rash on my back...both were reactions from the pill Ortho Tri-cyclen and generic brands....I advise anyone who is taking it to ask their PCP to give them another form of bith control!!!

I had severe pancrecatitis and a mesentery blood clot in 2006. I am also trying to find out if there is any class action lawsuits. Have you heard anymore?? my email is [e-mail]

I had a stroke not 5 months ago and all the Dr's all said it was due to the ortho. They also said there is a class action suit but I have yet to find it on the internet.

Hi, I'm a fit 25 year old and I had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in my lung) after taking Ortho tyicyclin lo. I'm also wondering if there is any law suit-- or at least if there's some registry so that other young women realize that this can happen!

This Pill put me in the hospital, with sever pelvic pain after having my period for 19 straight days. Had blood clots in my uterus and the pain I was suffering was do to the contractions (like when you are in labor) my uterus was having to get the blood clots out! Horrible, stay away.

I am currently on Trinessa that I was put on 6 weeks after I had my 1st daughter. I am 24 years old.

I have never experienced things to this sever form of depression (mood swings, I want to cry over nothing, anxiety like crazy), lack of sleep (ability to sleep that has nothing to do with my daughter who sleeps all night), lack of ability to loose weight no matter what, cramping and acne break outs.

I am trying to be put on Ortho and now I am hest after learning about Yaz and issues with Ortho.

Any other alternatives. Female's health matters. Now with me, my daughter is also involved as she needs her mommy to be healthy to care for her.
