Certain thyroid problems are considered autoimmune disorders. Autoimmune disorders are known to have genetic links...
However, this article is not about anything concerning the thyroid.

The Title says Thyroid problems can run in families. I don't see any mention of thyroid or the correlation in families. Is a high creatinine level an indication of thyroid problems. I am confused. My mother died last year at this time of thyroid cancer, and she had a horrific time.

This article has nothing to do with familial thyroid disease. I think this was a misprint.
