The so called weight loss drugs don't do much, and even if they do, its minimum. The greatest drug for losing weight is engaging in a systematic fitness program coupled with proper nutrition, and it will definitely get you in super shape. Here are some tips:
Walk alittle bit more, instead of driving everywhere, park 3 blocks away, or on the further end of the parking lot. Do gardening work at home, clean up the house, use the stairs more often. Its all about incorporating "active things " into your lifestyle.Think you are living in the year 1980, this might help.

-Get 7-8 hours of sleep:A lack of sleep causes stomach cells to produce ghrelin, which increases your feelings of hunger. At the same time, there is a decrease in production of a hormone named Leptin, which is responsible for suppressing our appetite and burning fat stores
Reduce your stress-when experiencing chronic stress, you end up feeling hungry all the time, and this is a major reason why you'd find yourself overeating. Lower your stress by spending some quite time alone, if you have a pet, spend some more time with it-studies have shown that owning a non judgmental companion animal is good for you mentally, physically and emotionally. You also need to add tea to your diet, studies have shown and proven that green tea prevents the absorption of fat, and in the process keeping excess body fat at bay. Not to forget its calming effect

You also need to stop staying up too late, and eating snacks throughout the day(while skipping meals). When you are on an erratic schedule like this, you tend to upset the genes that control daily rhythms in your body and brain. You have certain biological clocks that are disrupted, one of them being your appetite clock. Therefore get into a regular eating-sleeping-exercise routine, and stick with it, you'll see a huge difference in your weight, and even the way you feel.

-Perform aerobics exercises before your weight training: This will help in melting that layer of fat. Perform what I call jig jogs i.e sprint 20 secs then jog 10 secs, sprint 10 secs then jog 20 secs sprint 30 secs then jog 30 secs . These are great fat burning routines, you definitely need to perform this routine for about 15 minutes, then move on to your strength training
-Weight training: Perform 12-15 reps for 3-4 sets, working with 65%-75% of your maximum weight. Be progressive with this.
-Every meal that you have must include a low glycemic carbs, essential fatty acids and a protein.
