Ex-Cudahy Mayor David Silva gets prison in bribery

A former Cudahy mayor was sentenced Monday to a year in federal prison for his part in taking $17,000 in bribes from a man who wanted to open a medical marijuana dispensary in the city in southeast Los Angeles County.

He got off easy. I went to high school with him and he was a weasel then as now. It looks like there was some kind of plea bargain working here. He should have received a much longer sentence.

Yup you got that right he will serve time, but don't hold your breath. And silva is a weasel who hides behind his painted mustache. At least he got a year, but I'm sure he will make a great girl friend!!!
