A man who got caught with marijuana here allegedly told police he was only celebrating the recent legalization of that drug in two other states.

i am a college student with a 3.0 gpa. i do smoke "wacky weed". why do you people always assume a person is a burn out just because they like to do something that obviously offends you? i've met plenty of people who are probably much more smarter than you... who also smoke marijuana. this country spends way too much money trying to eradicate marijuana. there are a million other IMPORTANT things that money could be spent on. yeah, it may be illegal, but marijuana could also make this country's economy boom. have you ever heard of someone getting high, crashing into a vehicle, and murdering innocent people? alcohol is more dangerous than "wacky weed". if i had teenage kids i would much rather them being out smoking pot rather than out drinking alcohol and possibly get into a vehicle with a drunk driver.

Marijuana a is illegal because the lumber and cotton industries shit their pants over the possibility of losing profit to the highly versatile hemp. It is for this reason that they went on a crusade about how dangerous it is.

On a slightly unrelated but interesting note, a list of foods that are illegal in the United States for no reason other than big brother trying to play nanny:

Ackee fruit - Toxic in large quantities
Sassafras Oil - Carcinogenic
Puffer Fish - Deadly if ill prepared

And things that are perfectly legal:
Alcohol - Toxic in large quantities
Tobacco - Carcinogenic
Pokeweed - Deadly if ill prepared

So you have failed in your attempt to succeed in mainstream society and you smoke pot. The fact that you cannot deal with society or handle yourself without intoxicants does not give you the right to consider others who can as "sheeple." Grow up sport.

I came home this afternoon after picking up my copy of gta and I smelled something funny from my neighbors house. I went over there and the door was unlocked so I went right in. Sure enough there was my neighbor and two of his friends smoking to their hearts content. I told them they had two options, one- they could put the joints out or two- I would put the joints out for them. My neighbor had run ins with me before so he knew I meant business so he threw his joint down and told me to leave. I said you made a wise choice but I'm still calling the cops and then I turned to leave. My neighbor then got up off the couch got behind me and said a few cuss words and told me to mind my business. Well that did it. I turned around, took off my shades, looked him straight in the eye and said "lets get high". I then front kicked him a good 8 feet in the air. Then his other friend came at me with the bong, I grabbed his arm, snapped it and then hit him in the stomach with the bong. His other friend ran into the kitchen so I went after him. He was in the corner crying so I said "this is your brain" and then I grabbed a frying pan and said "this is your brain on drugs" and then I hit him in the head as hard as I could with the frying pan. After that I called the cops and they came over and arrested my neighbor and his friends. As I was leaving the sarge shouted out to me thanks. I turned around, took off my shades, looked him straight in the eye and said " well you know sarge, perhaps if we build a freaking dunkin doughnuts on this street it would give you guys a excuse to ride up here once or twice a week and keep the crime down. I then threw my shades on the ground to let him know I meant business. I feel pretty good about what I did for my neighborhood today.

I am a successful IT manager of a very good origination here in town, not going to tell anybody where but My salary is outstanding, couldn't be more happier, because now I can afford the best pot available and I do smoke pot probably atleast twice a day, one in the morning and one at night to help me goto sleep, I suffer from ADHD, and i've tried EVERYTHING from adderall, concerta, every type of ADD/ADHD medicine and the negatives are just HORRIBLE (me being a little underweight I could not take any type of meds that curb my appetite.. Marijuana is the only drug I do, I drink on occasion but if i Had to choose I'd pick mj over beer/alcohol any day of the week, ask your self, who would you rather meet on the road. 1 Drunk perosn or 3 people that are high. Personally I'd rather meet 100000 stoners on the road vs somebody under the influence of alcohol...
I have a beautiful wife, two great kids and making a good living. It needs to be legalized ASAP so we can get this country out of so much debt, but you gotta love uneducated people who know nothing more than what there mom or dad heard as propaganda back in the day..

Legitimate argument? Inform your employer of your willingness to engage in the use of illegal substances for recreational purposes.
