My wife suffers from bipolar disorder, panic/anxiety disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder, so they say. She was having problems with the lithium at 900mgs per day, the usual side effects with lithium toxcicity. We skipped a few doses over a couple of days and she came around a little bit. When she saw her doc he told her that she could quit cold turkey if she started another med that acts in a similar fashion so we started on trileptal. He also added neurontin. Since then her anxiety has been pretty high, nothing uncontrollable yet, but I fear the worst is yet to come. Does this change in meds make since to any of you guys? Any advice would be appreciated, I'm trying hard to keep my sanity and hers as well.

I experienced withdraw from getting off of lithium when I was on it for 2 1/2 years. If you want to learn more, go to my site www.drjeffmphd.com or email me at JPdatto@gmail.com

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Capricorn

Someone is being very pedantic and picky, and they'll soon drive you round the bend with frustration. They're splitting hairs about all sorts of petty problems, but unfortunately you won't be immune from this yourself. You might get caught up in needless details that don't really matter, or take everything that happens very personally. Try to be more objective.
