this drug is bad bad bad. itll screw up your mind and you. you dont want to take it. bad bad bad. psychiatry is bullshit. it hurts way more than it helps. i'm sorry to you supporters and i'm sorry that i'm addressing you with you because that's totally improper, but don't do it! don't fuck with yourself like this! even the viamin form of this bullshit is bad. whatever you do stay awa from psychatric drugs and stay away from creepers on them. search for spiritua enlightenment rather than physical and mental incapacitation and even retardation of your mental process. perscription drugs can be just as dangerous or more than illegal ones (especially those in psychiatry). travel, get a new job, make new friends, thats how you change your life, not by stupifying yourself and displacing yourslf from reality. this is all true and i hope someone reads this before they decide to take anything. best wishes.

In the nineties I had a 5 year stint on lithium because of an incompetent doctor.She hsd me on 1200mgs of lithium every morning after breakfast all at once instead of spacing it out evenly throughout the day.
Surprisingly I did okay on it sometimes but sometimes not.Shakes ,diarhea,tremors,confusion etc.But the most of the side effects came in the summer when I was outside working.
Iwas not educated at all about it and did not know how dangerous it could be.
One night out with my friends I had a weak spell and couldn't lift my head up off the car door.
We went to my friend's house andsat in his yard in the night cool air.I thought I was having a heart attack,I could barely make to the lawn chair in his yard.After a few hours I felt good enough to go home.I know i should have gone to the hospital.So I went off lithium and seeing A new doctor a few years later I learned that I didn't even have bipolar,but major depressive disorder and a.d.d. which can look alot like bipolar.
I didn't know that you had to watch the levels and drink water and have a certain salt intake or i may've been fine.
But it did lift my depression and am not on meds right now.My new doctor wants me on welbrutin but I've been wondering about lithium again using the new knowledge about it. But alot of you don't have many good things to say about it.
