Getting headaches with lamictal....is it normal

I have been on lamictal for about a week and now have started having severe headaches and feel like im getting a cold..is that normal?

Yes headaches not severe just dull & constant. Also fatigue, stomach aches, dizziness & vivid dreams
started 2 weeks ago. I start doubling dosage today and again in 2 more weeks.

The first time I tried Lamictal, I had headaches when I went from 25 to 50 mg, but they were controlled with Excedrin Migraine. Fortunately, they went away after 3 or 4 days. The doctor had me on 25 mg for 1 week, and then increased to 50 the second week. The third week, at 75 mg, I had unbearable diarrhea, and so I stopped taking it.

Soon after, I went to a new doctor. She ramped me up every 2 weeks instead of 1. So far, no side effects except for dizziness when I stand up too quickly. And it seems to be helping. Hallelujah!

been taking for over year now. all of a sudden getting headaches. taking 200mg works good cant stand the pain from the headaches. not giving up only medicine that works good so far

I have been taking 200mg of lamotrigine for a week now and my head is hurting every day. I hope this goes away soon.

I've been taking lamotrigine for two weeks three pils a day 25 mg I'm starting to get headache when I stay home and just watch tv but when I'm out I don't get headache that bad also my neck muscle is starting to twitch is that normal
