Medicine cabinet: Anti-anxiety drug risk is small

nice to know there is someone i can relate and great to know someonne can relate to me...when you don't know no no one it's a dark place... im the same, note from united either :( but i was'nt holding my breathe thats why i only put in a small order... :)

I am on methadone but get very bad panic attacks, i think it helps with my depression side of things, but anxiety i am not so sure. I am not a herion addict but i had a bad back, and was put on methadone for it. The Doctor though't it was ok , i would have prefered other treatments but here i am, 7 years later and still trying to get my stuff together. I have tried zoloft various other medications and they just dont work.

Now I am not sure what dosage y'all were taking but I can tell you from my experience that in 1996 after months of anxiety attacks which finally escalated to panic attacks, Klonopin saved my behind!! My anxiety had progressed to the point the I was so hypersensitive while driving I would jump six feet at the slightest unexpected movement by other vehicles. I finally had to stop driving for safety reasons. After an ER visit thinking I was having a heart attack (at age 29)I was first perscribed Klonopin. It was HEAVEN SENT!! No drug hang over, I didn't feel all woozy and spacey...just like this blissful calm had come over me and no "high" feeling. My first script while still having the major anxiety attacks and going to therapy (drugs alone don't work)I was on 1 mg a day. As the anxiety subsided, my Dr. allowed me to only take them as needed. I knew going into it that they are an addictive drug so I only took them when I couldn't bear it any longer. Often times a 30 pill supply would last me over a year or two because I would break them in half or quarters. I have never felt addicted to them and quite honestly if I didn't have them during those really tough times...I would have taken my own life. Klonopin saved my life and I feel all these negative posts could detour someone who could really benefit from the drug...and if they took their own life how useful would your comments be??
