Try Velvet Bean, aka Mucuna, add to this Tyrosine,(an amino acid).

The Mucuna is completly natural so take more than it says on the bottle. Or if you live where you can get them, eat fava beans. I think you will be surprised at the positive results you get.

Also, magnesium chloride has been found useful in treating Parkinson's and tremors. You might try this in the form of "Magnesium oil",(google it).

Don't be afraid to get married. I've been married for over 19 wonderful years to a man with ET. We didn't know what it was when we got married, but a few years later discovered a familial tendency when he met distant relatives. His brother also developed ET, and of his sister's six children, one has it, and another has it only when she is sick or stressed. One of our children has it also. About 7 years after we were married, he finally got a diagnosis. I don't say all this to reinforce your fear, but to say that my husband's tremors do not affect the kind of man he is, nor the kind of husband or father he is to our children. He is a successful business owner, a fine carpenter by trade, and it does affect his fine motor skills, which is frustrating for him, but he doesn't let it keep him down, and he doesn't let it affect his fine work. I feel very thankful and blessed to be his wife, with or without tremors. I hope you decide to push past these temporal things. The male psyche is so much different than a woman's. Most women don't worry as much about the small things as what kind of a man you are inside. An honorable, upright, loving and caring man is the prize, not how steady his hands are. Regards. Shelly

I have been a cop for 16 years and have been diagnosed with ET. It is now in both my left arm and my left leg. ET is forcing me to exit a career that I love. I have been married for 14 years and have 7 children. However, my family makes it easier knowing that I have them to support me. Don't let ET control the life you want/need to live.

Sorry to hear about you ETs. Have you tried taking Inderal? It has helped me so much! You can hardly tell I have any tremors. I will keep you in my prayers.

I know this post is rather old....but my cousin (and myself) have the E.T.'s. He's 50 years old, and he doesn't work or really do much of anything. He does have a wife (she doesn't have E.T), but she doesn't work either. I can remember even when we were very young we couldn't stop shaking. I take Atenolol, Propranolol, and NOW Hydroxyzine, too, so am able to keep a job. It does make me really tired and despondent, but it does stop the tremors as well.

Inderal/Propranolol does seem to work well enough, but it makes me so tired and sleepy. I sleep much of the time when I'm not working. Some of that could be severe depression too, however.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Libra

Look after yourself today, dear Libra, because you don't have as much energy and self-confidence as usual. In fact, your spirits may be trailing around your ankles, making you feel wretched and listless. A pessimistic mood certainly won't help you cheer up, and you may be feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or other people's problems. The fact is that you've got things out of proportion, but you'll feel better about them soon.
