My husband has a very frustrating type of memory loss that creates discourse between us frequently. And I noticed that its onset was shortly after taking statin drugs: his problem (and mine): he says that things happened that didn't. I call them something he "made up." It seems to be getting worse the longer he is on this regime. It is hard to have a conversation about events when his memory is impaired in this way.
