Keep diabetes drug Avandia on the market, FDA advised

The ballyhooed study was so poor that its conclusions are worthless.

I did quite Avandia recently, but because it caused my severe backachs.

Avandia nearly killed me. Over six years ago a doctor put me on Avandia while still on Metformin. Within a week my legs had swollen and on a plane ride from California coming home from a business trip I became so edemic I nearly lost my airway completely. No help from the doc just the usual "you need to lose some weight" B.S. Since the Avandia was the only new regiemen I just stopped taking it and voila in 24 hours I recovered. Shortly after the doctor told me Avandia had been know to induce congestive heart failure in some people. I have lived quit well without it.

I dont get why they just don't take it off the market because if doctors are saying it could cause CHF why put peopple at risk.
