Using Cyclobenzaprine, the pain is constant for 2 to 3 weeks, and then I must go for therapy. During that period of pain, my back muscle weakens to the point that whenever I stand I can feel each and every vertibrea release from their sitting position.

With Flexeril, a back episode of pain lasts 3 to 4 days receding all the time.

There is no comparison between Cyclobenzaprine, and Flexeril in my case.

It is very individual. What works for one person may be not effective for the other.
Cyclobenzaprine (http://www.originaldrugs.com/cyclobenzaprine.... ) is very similar to tricyclic antidepressants and shares some of their side effects.

I am wondering the same thing..... I would really like speaking to someone who has experienced side effects to this drug....it has been 7 months and I still don't have an answer. please let me know the symptoms you have experienced. Because I have had 12 of the symptoms and my doctors (10) I've seen so far won't listen. They aren't researching ....28 viles of blood 3 MRI's...still no answer as to what is going on. I have never felt the same after 1 dose.
