CYCLOBENZAPRINE won't work for me... only FLEXERIL does.. NOT the same

I herniated 3 disks in an auto accident (L4, L5, and S1)and syatic nerve (down my left leg) would give me extreme pain also in 1966. I had to live with the pain until sometime in the 1980's when a Orthopedic surgeon put me on Naprosin (500mg 2x daily), and Flexeril (10mg 3x daily).
Within 3 or 4 days I was back to work, limited to what I could accomplish, and within 2 weeks I was back to normal.
Early in the 1990's, I had an episode with my back, and I was given a prescription for CYCLOBENZAPRINE, and told that this was the generic for FLEXERIL. I took it as prescribed, but the pain only got worse, my lower back muscle turned into jelly, and whenever I stood up I could feel each disk releasing from the sitting position.
After 4 weeks of pure pain, I had to go for therapy for 2 weeks. This happened TWICE, and the pain for those weeks makes me want to die.

When put back on FLEXERIL, the back problem became normal as I mentioned earlier.

Everyone's body is different, and even though companies swear that the CYCLOBENZAPRINE is EQUAL to FLEXERIL, it can't be. My body know the difference immediately.

Is there any other drug on the market that is truly equal to FLEXERIL that will really help me? And PLEASE don't say CYCLOBENZAPRINE.

First of all, no one to date, has gotten back to me. My regular doctor agrees with me that the two are worlds apart.

Secondly, I don't live in Holtsville, NY. I live in Farmingville, NY.
