I have been taking Flexeril 5mg, then cyclobenzaprine 10mg for about 3 years now to relieve lower back stiffness with 800mg Ibuprophen. Last week I tried to do without the drugs. This led to total body pain and stiffness which felt like the flu yet when I started taking the drugs again, the total body stiffness went away but the lower back pain/stiffness persisted as if I had taken nothing. I am a 43 year old male, 5'3" tall and I am over weight. what can I take to zoom in on my lower back pain?
