My 14 yr old son was taken to his general practioner by his step mother because he was complaining of tight muscles in his neck and back area. He was perscribed a perscription of 5mg Flexeril,Cyclobenzaprine to be taken one tablet by mouth at bedtime as needed for spasms. The Step mother informed me in a telephone conversation that she would send me 5 of the 15 tablets to give to him as needed. I am astonished, confused and worried that this drug was perscribed to a perfectly health young boy. Please advise.
Thank you, Debbie Werness |
