I think anyone who uses any kind of narcotic pain medication for anything other than real pain, is a complete dumb ass!for (Milltigg2), I was on stadol for migraine headaches....... LEGITIMATE PAIN!!!!!!! People like you that abuse this medication for recreational purposes as well as other narcotic pain relievers, give the people like me that really do need it for pain a bad name and you make it very difficult for doctors to trust the honest people. GET OFF IT!!!!!!!!!!

no problem. do you have insurnace or are you a cash pay patient? I have the name and adress of a legit doctor that will prescribe you 2 bottles per month with two months refills just pm me for the address and phone number it's all legit and legal, just need medical records to be faxed to his office.
I'd like to know who this doctor is. I would even go see him in person. I'm so tired of docs being scared to prescribe the meds patients need. I have no control of how many migraines I have a month, so it pisses me off when they tell me that they can only prescribe 1 a month. I would like a doctor to take care of ME for a change, and not his own "hind end"!

Would you please send me the doctors name, address and phone number so that I can get my medical records submitted to him. I really need him to become my doctor because I have been on stadol previously for my migraines, and now that I have moved, I am having difficulty finding a doctor who will write the prescription for stadol.

I have Viva Medicare insurance. I receive disability because my migraines are just that bad, and the stadol nasal spray is the only medication that I have found to give me some relief, along with the preventative medications that I take daily. I live in alabama. Will I have to go and see this doctor in person. I noticed that you said that you said you would also need an in office drug screen.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Lisa

Hello, I've been using butorphanol tartrate nasal spray for a chronic pain condition called Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome for two years (after living for 15 years with the condition and receiving no relief.) Last year my prescribing physical retired, and the doctor he referred all of his patients to refuses to prescribe this life-changing medication to me. I've been in the hospital over 70 times in the last 17 years, but with this med I've cut that down to about 2 times a year since I can manage my episodes at home. My new docs in the town I just moved to are just as reluctant to prescribe the medication but they offer no alternatives. There is no cure for my condition and all I can do is abort an attack when it comes (CVS is treated very much like migraine headaches.)
If someone can share with me the doctors info, I have all the records and such that he would need. Thank you for your assistance. Life is hell when suffering is so bad, but its such a shame when there are so many medicines out there to allieviate the suffering (why are people who legitimately need pain medication treated like addicts? Its sickening.)
Would also like to hear anyone else's thoughts on this.
Sincerely,
Emma A, MI

I've been recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis I get migraine headaches almost everyday my doctor has now put me on this day on the train and down all star break through migraine medicines work very well taken as prescribed so if you truly have a migraine disorder it is best to speak with your doctor and talk about your care each person's care is individual not 1 persons care is the same, what works for me may not working well for you

Everyone should also be asking the doctor for a migraine PREVENTATIVE as well. I was getting headaches and migraines almost every day until my Dr prescribed me a preventative medication that I take daily. BIG difference, way less headaches.

Does the Stadol nasal really work? I have been diagnosed with chronic migraines also. I have been on countless medications and now they are so bad I had to quit work. My neurologist can't seem to find the right regimen. I have been in the ER twice this week and each time they have given me diloted through IV. Many times they have given me stadol and that helps also but I needs someone to drive me home and many times there isn't anyone to do that. It would be so much easier if I had something like the stadol nasal. I have insurance.

I am having the same problem!! I had been allowed 6 bottles a month for 7 years( the insurance allows 180 bottles a year[BCBS]), then my Dr. retired. After that I suffered for 6 months without it till I found another Dr. that started me at 1 bottle a week, but after 8 months and the hiring of a new PA, suddenly he feels that Lortab is the way to go and no longer will prescribe the Stadol. The lortabs don't work for my migraine pain but it seem they are all more concerned with covering thier own ***'s about the "overprescribing" of Stadol! I don't understand what the problem is all of a sudden! Good luck in your search for a "true" Dr. concerned with the patients well being.

I have had migraines since I was 10 years old. I am now 30. I have been on stadol ns for about a year and it has completely changed my life. I was having a migraine at least every other day. My 22 month old special needs son passed away 4 months ago and the attacks have increased. However, my dr informed me today that he won't prescribe stadol ns for me anymore bc he wants me to see yet another specialist to deal with me. I am not an addict, but a mother of 5 year old twins who is in desperate need of this medication, since I am allergic to triptans. I live in alabama. Thank you.

Look Sherry It's people like you who suck. Stadol is the only
medication that works for me and a I have been having severe headaches for the past 40 years. None of these meds make me high
but just provide some relief. So get a life bitch!

I started using Stadol NS,about 15 years ago. I have had about 34 years of Migraines and have been on everything and saw many Specialists & MDs. YES,Stadol does work! It only works for my migraine pain. It can make me vomit or become woozy, but it's still better than the pain. Good Luck,I hope you have a MD who will prescribe it. It's difficult to get the docs to write for it because of the bad reputation for abuse potential. Unfortunately,we all have to suffer for the shananigans of some idiots. My other advise would be to make sure your safe and at home when you first try it,because of the side effects. But,after you use it a few times you should get used to or get over the bad reactions or at least know what to expect. My headaches are much less often now,and not as severe, but I still end up in the ER pretty often,if I don't have a RX for the Stadol. It still works better than anything I've ever tried,I hope it helps you too.

It's a big change today after yesterday's combustible atmosphere and you're feeling more relaxed and understanding. You're even prepared to forgive someone for what you thought yesterday was a heinous crime, and ready to give them a second chance. However, let's hope that this person deserves your goodwill and is grateful to receive it.
