I have been taking Enbrel for about 3 months for RA and I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced being extremely tired from this injection? Is this something I will just have to deal with or is there something that can be adjusted?

I've been on Enbrel for a little over 9 months now. I definitely had fatigue associated with it and noticed lower energy levels. Most of that has seemed to go away now though, or else I just got used to it!:)

Hi, I've been on Enbrel for RA for 10 months, just started using 50mg pen instead of 50mg pre filled syringe once per week. After injecting have trouble sleeping for the first few nights but get very tired in the afternoon, then a couple of days before I inject again I get very very tired. Also I have chronic sinus since starting drug and feeling anxious, anyone else had these symptons? On the positive side, has turned my life around as far as pain and being able to function again.

Good day~ I have been taking Enbrel for almost 8 year. It has saved my life. I thought I would never be able to function as a mom the way I was feeling. When I started the drug I did have bad headaches but they went away after a week. When the company changed to pre filled syringes I had the same problem. Also burning at the injection site from whatever they put on the needle. I still use the type I mix. As far as being tired I feel it is not the Enbrel but just part of RA. It can cause fatigue. I have learned that taking a nap is not a sin. Its your body telling you it need a rest. Iam so greatful for the drug and it giving me my life back!~

Hi Carole, just read your post with interest. I have been on Enbrel for 5 years for RA and like you have had Sinus problems. Apparently this is a side effect. My main problem right now is whether to get the Swine Flu vaccine and have tried to get this information from The Enbrel people and also my Rheumatologist and no one can give me an answer.
Any comments on this subject would be appreciated.
Right now I do have a sinus infection and have had to stop the Enbrel, it's like catch 22 as now my joints are inflamed. The Enbrel does work when on it regularly but lately I seem to be having one infection after another and it's so frustrating.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Cancer

Your powers of concentration are finely honed today, enabling you to focus on something to the exclusion of all else. This is just what you need if you're hoping to make a big dent in your workload or you're doing something very fiddly or detailed. But it's important that you know when to stop, otherwise you might get really weary and lose your effectiveness.
