Elavil - For 9 Days

After 9 days I began showing severe side effects. Some doctors told me to ween off, some told me to stop taking it completely. I felt severe side effects on the 9th day of taking it:
dizziness
dry mouth
numbness on one side
high heart rate/blood pressure
feeling completely hot and burning (when I'm usually cold natured)

I called just to see if it was the meds, they told me to go to the ER and my blood pressure and heart rate were high. But different doctors say different things...so I am confused of course.

I was only on 25 mg/night for migraines (was on birth control for polycystic ovarian, but I had severe side effects to that - migraines so bad I couldn't function, thus...I was put on Elavil). I'm scared to take it, but also scared to stop taking it...the doctors all say different things, and half of them are late to return my calls. I'm confused on what to do but I DO know I do NOT need to be on this.

Would this hurt to stop after just 9 days?
