Diovan and hair loss?

i have been on diovan for about 10 years i have discussed the issue about hair loss with my doc. my doctor told me that only about 1 percent of patients taking diovan have this problem I then thought it was my age 54(menopause) . I have been reading other comments that others have been writing and I not only have the hair loss side effect, i have many others weight gain, hair loss, depression, sun sensitivity, and also joint pain will be making an appt. with my doc.

These comments are truly helpful, but like someone said tell us if the hair has come back after stopping diovan. I started taking it three years ago 80mg. and yesterday I finally said to myself girl when are you going to notice all your hair loss. My parents into their 80's had thick hair and mine is thinning, it is everywhere. I am going to stop diovan and I will get back to this site if the hair grows back. I no it isn't right to stop cold turkey but how else will I find out the cause.
