I have recently been prescribed TRAZADONE instead of clomipramine and olanzapine an anti psychotic used for my chronic clinical depression and insomnia. I was fine on these 2 drugs and slept 7-8 hours per night. I had to come off the Olanzapine as it was discovered to be the cause of my borderline diabetes (impaired glucose tolerance). I have been taking Trazodone for a few weeks but have been sleeping only 5.5 hours per night on 250mg. I am not experiencing side effects and I am not depressed but feel rough during the day as a result of my short but deep sleep.Is this the best I can expect or wiyh longer use will I sleep better?

I take Desyrel (order from http://pillrx.info ). This is good antidepressant for me.
