Judge it!
Depakote ER, both 250 and 500 mg went generic on Feb 2, 2009. I am very curious if it is much lower than the brand. Check out this link

I checked out price today on the generic depakote ER at Walmart. For 90, 500 mg the brand price is $256. For the generic it is $187. Not much help at all. There should be a law against such high prices.

I used to take depakote, but since I have no insurance I take valporic acid which cost me 28.99
per month for 60 pills per month and it works just as good as depakote and saves me 100.00 per month |

This will be so nice to have a generic Depakote! I hope it works the same. I'll have to do some research, but my doc assures me it should be fine. Does anyone want to share their Depakote experiences on this site to grow a nice source of info? http://www.depakotesideeffects.net
