to avoid side effects. Try some of these:
1. Lie down with a heating pad or hot water bottle and place it on your lower abdomen.
Occasionally, ice for 10 minutes at a time works better than heat, especially if you are nauseous
or bleeding heavily.
2. Sometimes it works better to move around and stretch out.
3. Have someone give you a back rub or massage. The lower back and thighs are important to
massage.
4. I4. If you are bleeding and clotting a lot, sometimes a uterine massage is helpful. Massage or rub the lower abdomen, just above the pubic bone until it feels better.(Works best after pain
medications have been taken.)
