Cytotec is just there to "push" whatever is in your uterus out. Sometimes, the fetus' hold is very strong or firm & sometimes Cytotec is not enough.
In order to know if you have had a complete abortion, something which looks like a small piece of raw liver should come out a few days after your initial attempt. This should be the placenta.
Also, watch out for signs of infection like high fever & stuff. This is a sign of an incomplete abortion & you must seek medical attention immediately.
Incomplete abortions & infections are dangerous & could be fatal.
