Does anyone have experience with a doc in the Chicagoland area that will prescribe Cytomel or Armour? I had a TT with ablation 8 years ago and am on Synthroid only. I have been seeing a renowned Endo at a big university who won't take my complaints seriously. He draws only TSH - AFTER my office visit - and is impossible to talk to. I took Cytomel 6 years ago before a scan and never felt better. For the past 3 years I have felt awful - poor memory and concentration, zero energy, poor muscle tone, 40 pound weight gain, cold intolerance, on and on. I'm 50 and feel 90. I'll travel amywhere to see a GOOD doc. Can anyone help?
