times to use Clomid

I am going on my second three month cycle of clomid and I always start Clomid on the 5th day of my cycle. I read someplace where some people have gotton pregnant when they start Clomid on the 3rd day of the cycle and it works great....Can anyone help me on this? I asked my doctor and she said that she has always had a good result starting it in the 5th day.

Can I start using Clomid on the sixth day of my cycle? Are there any side-effects if I missed the fifth day and I start on the sixth?

I would suggest you use clomid as prescribed. I got pregnant on the first round of clomid, but unfortunately i lost the baby at about 2-3 weeks.

I used clomid to get pregnant with my son and it worked the second time but i started my pills on the 3rd day of my cycle, here I am again trying for my second and my doctor told me to start my pill on day 3 of my cycle. For Denise at the top I would try taking it on the 3rd day of your cycle or ask for another doctors advice.
