Clindamycin side effects

Has anyone ever took this medication and had a sore throat and a rash in their mouth?

I have taken this medicine, but didn't have a sore throat or a rash in my mouth. This medicine wasn't worth taking. It has my esphosaugus feeling likt it is raw, it gave me gas, chest pain and abdomen pain. If I where you I would ask my doctor to give me another antibotic. Good luck to you.

I didn't have a sore throat, but I developed a spot on my lip that was a little raw and crusty. I also developed diarrhea and was only on the drug for about 36 hours. I had my doctor change my medication, and a week later am still experiencing loose stools.

I have taken CLYNDAMYCIN for 5 years before dental work. I have lost my hearing on one side and the other side is down %12.

I was on Clindamycin for 1 day only (to prevent infection).(I stopped because of skin side-effects .. little blisters on my arm. I still have weak stomach after 8 days. Imagine if I had taken the 7 days I was supposed to take!.. I don't want to imagine that!

Took CLYNDAMYCIN for two days after a serious dental procedure and got hit with the raw throat thing, so bad it was almost impossible to swallow. Apparently it's very, very important to take it with a lot of water and not to lay down for a while. Find some other anti-biotic!
