If you read the autopsy report Dr. Perper brings up the question of how did so much Cloral Hyadrate get into her body. This question is never answered. Why does someone take a sleeping medication at 10 am anyway?

As long as she was at a normal level of consciousness, she had the ability to say what she wanted to do. The nurse could suggest she get help, but could not order her. The nurse could explain what could happen or tell her it would be to her best advantage to go, but it comes down to the patient.
The nurse could have called the emt to come and check her out, but then what would Anna have done afterwards.
Everyone needs a scapegoat, Anna did this to herself.

That was my opinion also...Anna was f...ed up, she falls overboard and forgot to use her life jacket, and Oh MY, Howard tried so hard to save her. Yeah right! I wonder if he went ahead and bought the yacht?

When Anna conveniently died from drug overdose, all the more better for Howard.

And Dr. Kris Erossovitch had evidently quit her regular practice to be Anna's personal confidante. Doesn't that seem strange to anyone??? The Doc and Stern were awfully close if you want my opinion!

I am guessing you probably know this by now, but in case you don't, the Cloral Hydrate was prescribed in Howard Stern's name, NOT Anna's. At least that bottle in HIS name (by Dr. Erosovich) was the ONLY bottle of Cloral Hydrate found in the room where Anna died. That Rx and several other drugs (also found in Anna's system) were all the name of Howard Stern. One prescription found was in the name of Dr. Erosovich, and two others under the name of "Alex Katz" (believed to be an alias).

Sanchez said the drug was prescribed last year after Smith's 20-year-old son Daniel died in the Bahamas of apparent drug-related causes.

This was reported in the NBC release.
If this is wrong then NBC has missed their report.

Dr. Perper has released the list of all prescriptions that were in the room, given to him for his review. NONE of them were prescribed to Anna. Eight were prescribed to Howard Stern, including the Cloral Hydrate, two Rx to an Alex Katz (believed to be an alias), and one to Dr. Erosovich herself. Dr. Erosovich may have told someone she prescribed Cloral Hydrate to Anna at some previous time, but that isn't really relevant. What is relevant to the issues surrounding Anna's death, is what was available to her in the hotel room. And, according to Dr. Perper, there was NO Cloral Hydrate PRESCRIBED TO ANNA in the room after she died, nor any other drug for that matter.

He did notice the breathing tube that was shoved down her thoat. It's not hard to force someone to drink something. Just hold their nose and poor away. Also I could be wrong but I believe every single drug in the room was subscribe in someone else's name.

i might still be a kid but i think all you people out there not sayin no names need to stop hattin on anna cuz she was polly stressed out and couldnt handle life no more. im only 15 years old and i might not know alot about pills or shyt like that but my dad died from the same thing anna did and i know how hard it is and i wanna tell her family and friends that im sorry for there loss. and all you tenage kids and young adults and every body else out there please be carefull bout what you do and know you arnt just hurting your self when you do somethin to gurt your self it hurts every body eles that loves you so im beggin you dont do somethin to hurt your self.. think before you do somethin stupid!! love always and foever megan

Your message is great, but you may get through to more people if you would learn to spell,write and speak better. At 15 you do have a good message to send.

Leave the friggin kid alone. She obviously has been through something difficult and she's writing a letter to you "Adults" with computer slang. Anyways!!! My mom died a couple of months ago from the same thing as Anna Nicole..but my mom had Fibromyalgia, Addison's Disease, and MS. Her drug overdose was non-intentional suicide. I miss her like crazy and every day is a battle to get going and move on, but indefinitely that will never occur. I agree with Megan, the fifteen year old from Michigan, that Anna is not a "druggie", just a deeply depressed person with a knack of finding doctors who ONLY treat people with medication. Same thing went for my mom. RIP MOMMA 4.4.07
