What do you think of the Indian Celexa? I'm on my first round and would like to talk to others currently going through the process.

I can recommend a reputable Indian pharmacy http://drugstore.ind.in
Before I ordered Celexa here I ran a thorough investigation on the manufacturing practices in India in general and found out that there is DEATH PENALTY for counterfeiting drugs there. I figured it would be enough to give the pills a try and I was quite satisfied with the result. I hope this info will be of any help to the community.

I checked this site (drugstore.ind.in) and the drug is produced in India.
I'm not opposed to buying offshore but I am concerned about the safety/effectiveness of black market drugs. If you have personally used these products I'd appreciate knowing about your experiences - bothgood and bad.
Thanks, Bob.

When I moved from the USA to India, I ordered their medicines all the time; I was there for about 2.5 years. I went to a doctor to have my meds transfered to their meds names (since they often use different names then other countries do). They are not "black" market drugs! India is different in that they don't restrict many medicines like they do in the USA. The highly addictive drugs are out on the streets just like in most other countries. They make it so that often you don't have to pay for a doctors visit when you know what meds you need and in all the medical stores I went to there, they all had a licensed doctor in the store to assist if necessary.

I bought 20mg x 240 pills on this site. I've tried both original brand and generic Celexa. There is no difference in effectiveness as far as I can tell between the brand and Generic versions. The real difference is price, no comparison. And the India suppliers seem honest and reliable. On the site http://drugstore.ind.in I've just placed my 3rd order.

The main rule that can protect you against buying counterfeit – you should buy the pills only at drugstores which are officially registered and have official licenses to sell pharmaceutical products. One of such http://drugstore.ind.in Constantly I use its services.

I have only been on indian citalopram for 8 days now at 20mg for clinical depression. I began on a Thursday and I noticed on Sunday evening I felt very confident and the depressive issues that were affecting me had significantly subsided. However, everyday has been like this...upon waking I feel depressed still, have had an anxiety attack or two but once 2:00 or 3:00 PM rolls around I feel great again. I completely understand that I still have time to go before it takes total effect and I am being impatient but is this a normal effect when you first begin? I was taking it in the AM upon waking but I figured that since it seemed like it was taking about 10 hours for me to feel better after taking it I switched to 10:00 or 11:00 PM. Should I not have done that?

I have been on the same dose, but I deliberately chose to take my meds in the morning for the following reasons.
1. If I take them in the evening, they disturb my nights rest.
2. If I take them in the morning with breakfast they are better and faster absorbed and metabolised and I benefit from the wake-up jolt it gives me.
3. My doc informed me that upon complete buildup, the startup-side-effects that you describe will even out over the day and with me they disappeared entirely.
4. Since I take it in the morning the wear-off phase, takes place when I'm asleep, so it doesn't bother me too much and since I go to bed with a clear mind, I can brace myself for the morning-black mood, that I alwasy have, whether I'm on meds or not, so that latches in nicely with my pre-existing routine.
5. When buildup was complete, that ugly morning attitude where I face the world growling and with bared fangs had vanished completely and my positive strokability factor rivaled that of my beloved cats. Much to the relief of my other pack(family)-members.
Hope that this helps you a bit.

Its best to take them at night, also if you are a smoker and you have slept all night without one, and the Indian celexa has also run out in the am , that might be causing the anxiety. Brothers, and Sisters, isnt panic, anxiety a bitch from hell or what. Two hours ago i was crying just to releive the pain, took a sed, gotta go back to get more Indian celexa, i stopped talking it awhile back.

I just started taking Indian citalopram a week ago (20mg/day). The first few days i took it in the morning and noticed that i felt tired. So, a few days ago I began taking it in the evngs w/dinner... And, i sleep fine...wake-up at my usual 7:30am, and by 9 am sleepy again for another 2-3hrs!(momentarily unemployed so it's ok, but i am going to start splitting the dosage to 10mg to see if that helps!) It does help calm my racing heart, tho (am taking if for anxiety).

I started Indian celexa this past week. I am taking 10mg once a day. I am taking it at night usually around 9pm. Today at around 2pm I started feeling like I was having an anxiety attack. Is this normal for the first week? I to am very tired during the day. I have a 2 yr old to take care of and it's not good to be so tired all the time.
