How to start on Celexa

My doctor prescribed me 40mg Celexa to take once a day but I'm wondering if I should start at 10mg or 20mg first and slowly work myself up to 40mg or not? Thanks

40mg seems like a high dosage, Ive been on 10mg for a week and can't imagine taking a larger dosage, try it and if you feel awful then reduce down to 20. Maybe it depends on a persons weight but I doubt it. Let me know what dosage you decided on and how you feel.
