I was on this medicine for a few months and noticed that I started having a studder. That is the closest thing I can compare it to. I talked to my doctor about this and he just said its nothing to worry about. I slowly got off the medication and the problem got a little better but it never totally went away. I never had this before. Has anyone else had this same issue or anything like it?

I have beeb on Tegretol for 7 years(since 2002) and I have generally been healthy. Lately however I have had a couple of incidents which seem to be connected to the timing of the doses that i am on (400mg in the morning, 600mg at night). I get very spaced out and my coordination, especially in my legs, deteriorates very quickly. It almost feels like there are puppet strings attached to my legs and torso. Is anyone familiar with these effects.
