State To Receive $1.7M From Pfizer Settlement

Connecticut will get $1.7 million from Pfizer Inc. as part of a $60 million 33-state settlement to resolve allegations the company illegally and deceptively promoted its Celebrex and Bextra drugs.

Why isnt this money going to those who used Celebrex? Just like the ciggarette law suit, the government gets the money and doesnt even use it to pass out patches to help people quit smoking. What thievery.

Why not use the 1.7 million to pay back the medicaid account? Isn't that what you guys took out of the the government 1.7 medicaid monies to pay for the Southbury mistakes?

Medicaid patients are suppose to get quality care?? What planet are you on Mr. Blumenthal? Here on earth your lucky to get a cut rate Dr. in a back door shop! No MD worth his salt will will accept medicaid because they pay pennies on the dollar.

Now you want to move children off of husky onto a new program only a handful of Drs. even work with?

Good luck in finding a doc...you all will need it!
