I have been taking Benicar for over a year and I have been very satisfied with the results. I take mine at bedtime and I have not noticed any trouble with side efffects. Your dose may be too high and may need to be adjusted by your doctor.

I have experienced some dizziness also, although it doen't occur all the time --take mine in the morning --am going to try switching to PM dosing and see how that does for me.
