It can feel like a mist shrouding a person's consciousness, creating a sense of not being quite all there.

As a clinician always looking for basic helpful activities that can improve brain function, I was especially interested in your last comment. Human interaction, in my own clinical experience, will indeed discourage cognitive deterioration.
Those that stay locked in and alone fall apart cognitively more quickly.
Research at UCLA regarding Mirror Neurons shows with fMRI [functional brain imaging] that we actually learn through the process of mirroring in our "mind's eye" the activities of others, even through the visual stimulation of watching ads on the Super Bowl!
The two most common problems I see in my practice are: 1. Drug interactions, long a favorite topic, and 2. Chronic metabolic disturbances not recognized over time leading to relative malnutrition.
Thanks,
Dr Parker

This is another article which is long gone. Can anyone give me a still active link to the article? I know the feeling all too well during allergy season & want to see what it recommends.

On the contrary, I am not in excellent health. I have COPD, anxiety disorder, sleep apnea, and am borderline hypertension. Not to mention, I've buried 5 friends in the last 2 years ans one has gone missing, presumably from murder. And yet, I still hold a stable jod, have a great marriage, and pay all my bills without worry. So don't assume my life or health is perfect because it isn't. I just refuse to give in to quacks that know nothin of what I go through on a day by day basis. And nothing I tell a doctor will ever change my views. What's in my head stays with me and God, and the overpaid head doctors get no money from me. I can handle what what life gives me. Can you say the same?

No rebutal? You "doctors" must be too busy drilling someone for information about their lives, because you have no lives of your own, and charging them 100 bucks an hour. then you'll get in your nice Porsche or BMW and go to your nice, paid for, 8 bedroom house that your clients paid for and go to bed immediately after supper without helping your children with homework or kissing them off to bed or talking to your spouse(if you have one) and wake up to go back to the office to probe someone elses personal feelings and thoughts. WOW WHAT A LIFE YOU HAVE!!!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
