Ejaculation issue

I have been on Avodart for about two years now. The frequent night urination trips diminished greatly. I usually get up only once a night now, which I consider normal.

I have noticed that during orgasm, I do not ejaculate, but only dribble a few drops. However, I have recently began the practice of gently pushing the area under and behind my scrotum during orgasm and I ejaculate copious amount of semen while doing this. I am interested to know if others using Avodart have also manifested these symptoms. Is this a side effect of Avodart.

My initial PSA two years ago was 3.5. It is now 2.5.

Ahhh yes. You bet. I vote for Saw Palmetto for prostate health. Now to get the FDA to test it and approve it. Avodart sucks.

I have been on Avodart for 6 months with no side effects other then an increase in ejaculate volume that has now become clear versus the milky white it used to be. I do push on the area behind my scrotum during auto-ejaculation, but my wife doesn't and my volume is still greatly increased. Of course, I generally am more aroused with my wife than by myself so I can't say for sure that we don't have the same manifestation.

I dribbled only a few drops before I began Avodart, however, when my prostate was enlarged.

Within 10 days of starting starting Dustasteride my ejaculated volume had reduced significantly within a month there was nothing, this meant that love making brought no pleasure. Once the BPH symptoms had subsided I stopped taking. After six months the ejaculated volume had increased but is still not back to normal, however the BPH symptoms are coming back so I guess I will be back on dreaded stuff again.
