My 82 year old Mother who is a Heart patient is certain that AMOX TR-K CLV 875-125 mg tablets(Generic for AUGMENTIN) are causing her angina pains and I know she is right. I would be willing to bet that it causes inflammation, and or coronary artery spasms, and or "fluffs up the plaque" in coronary arteries. Thoughts? Comments? Thanks

I thought Chiropractoer's took care of people's backs. Dr. Joan Fallon, a back doctor in New Rochelle, New York did this patent. Read at the bottom of this information paper, it says she injected 16 children with Secretin intravenously.
Oh my golly gosh, how can doctors do this? She should have tried to be a doctor that took care of just autistic kids instead of being a back doctor, but that is just my opinon. United States Patent 6,534,063 Fallon March 18, 2003 ---------- Methods for treating pervasive development disorders Abstract A method of utilizing the fecal chymotrypsin level of an individual as a measure of the success of secretin, other neuropeptides, and peptides or digestive enzyme administration to such individuals, and in particular, as a prognosticative of potential secretin, other neuropeptides, peptides, and digestive enzyme administration for persons having ADD, ADHD, Autism and other PDD related disorders. ---------- Inventors: Fallon; Joan M.(New Rochelle, NY) Appl. No.: 09/466,559 Filed: December 17, 1999 ---------- For each of the 16 autistic children tested, a preferred secretin infusion process according to the present invention was performed involving the administering of 1 U/kg of body weight of Secretin-Ferring for a period of nine months at intervals of approximately 6 weeks. In addition, another CARS test was administered to each of the 16 autistic children 3 weeks post secretin administration to determine if their autism had changed post infusion. A preferred secretin infusion process includes the initial step of prepping an arm of the candidate child with an IV injection of saline. A test dose of 1 U of Secretin-Ferring is then administered to the child. Approximately one minute after infusion, the child is examined for signs of allergic reaction including rash, increased heart rate, and increase of blood pressure. If the child does not display any signs of allergic reaction, the remaining units of Secretin-Ferring is administered to the child in the manner of an IV push, which is then followed by a saline flush. Subsequently, each child receives a 1 U/kg of body weight infusion of Secretin-Ferring approximately every 6 weeks for 9 months. It is to be understood that any commercially available form of secretin may be used. |

After hearing a story from a dear friend of mine and how her child, afflicted with autism, was treated by Dr. Joan Fallon at her New Rochelle office, I began to research her. That’s when I came across this forum and I must say that as a Health Care Attorney, I have found it terribly appalling that she has not had to answer to the law. She injected secretin into my friend’s child with help of a nurse. Dr. Fallon is a chiropractor, not a medical physician. She has neither the right or license to do such a thing. She blatantly went beyond the scope of her chiropractic practice and what she has done is considered medical malpractice, child endangerment and assault on an innocent child. The children that she has treated have suffered enough and should not have to continue to endure Dr. Joan Fallon’s unprofessional conduct.
