Atenolol Side Affects and Questions

I am no longer on Atenolol for more than two months now. However, I am still experiencing tiredness in my chest and pain in my head. The pain in my head feels like flashing lights all over my head but usually located towards the top, forehead and behind the eyes and included is a dizzy sensation. The experience is continuous all day long but is usually made worse by exercise. So much for my daily exercise routine. The doctor says that this was not caused by the Atenolol. I disagree with him. I was fine until I started this medication to control my blood pressure. Now I have trouble recalling names and things. I am no longer on the blood pressure medicine. I control my blood pressure by using a vitamin shake called Relive. The pain in less and the swelling has gone down and I am no longer on the Atenolol. I appreciate the vitamin drink so much that I intend to make it available to anyone who wants it.

My question to everyone is, has the Atenolol made you feel the same way I feel? Does your pain continue now that you are off the Atenolol? What does your doctor have to say about the affects? Do you have a doctor that might be willing to talk with me about the affects and how I can correct or treat my problems or get rid of my pain? How did your doctor treat your side affects? I look forward to hearing from you.
