Has anyone ever heard of Arimidex being percribed for children with short stature? Estrogen causes bones to fuse ending growth. By reducing estrogen the bones don't fuse and growth continues.

I read a review of the science published to date on Arimidex for short stature. It appears to work quite well. As well or better than HGH. Many studies report that 2-3 years of .5 to 1 mg per day increased final height nearly 6 cm! Side effects were mild and no one discontinued treatment in any of the studies. Bone mass loss was not an issue as the increase in testosterone compensated for the decreased estrogen. Blood lipids should be monitored.
