But you are sure or do you think? Can someone help me? I've forgotten that now he takes Pepcid AC as people with AsianFlush.
Is possible that AsianFlush and antabuse reaction can be treated at the same way?

Not exactly. I experiment with antabuse and usually end up paying the price. When I drink too soon after my last dose, I'll do anything to help the symptoms. Pepcid, milk thistle, lots of water, and sometimes food seem to lessen the reaction. I honestly don't know if any of them make a difference, but anyone who's been through a reaction knows that you'll take drastic steps to "make it stop".
Usually, lying perfectly still with phone nearby brings gradual relief within an hour.
The stuff works.

Hello, I have a bottle of Antabuse sitting here on my counter prescribed by my doctor but i have a few questions about it that no one can seem to definitively answer and I'm a bit scared to take it till i know. This is a question for people who have actually been on it and have tried these things.

Can you use topical things like lotion, deodorant, sun block etc. that have some alcohol content in them without getting sick? or is it only if you ingest alcohol?

Also, I do a cycle of injectable steroids from time to time which is a 1cc or 1ml muscle injection that is about 2% alcohol. Will that small of an amount make me sick?

You've only taken one tablet? 250MG?
wait 2 to 3 days and you'll be fine.
I've taken it now a week, so i'm waiting a week. to be honest, we both should just keep taking the pill!!

I'm the child of a dead alcoholic. Please don't consider bringing a child into an alcoholic home. The long term effects are sobering at the least.
