New User of Antabuse

I'm 2 hours into taking my first 250mg of antabuse. I'm a little apprehensive but also excited knowing that I'm on my way to sobriety. I've been alcohol free for 4 days. Does anyone know how long it usually takes the drug in your system before you know if you're going to experience any side effects?

I've been taking Antabuse now for going on a year and a half, and have been noticing side effects that I would much rather keep private.
Hope this helps, but Antabuse, like every drug, will effect everyone differently.
