Publix is NOT GOING TO GIVE ANYONE ANYTHING FOR FREE! Their prices on regular prescriptions are SOOOO HIGH that this will not be free! They used to fill my scripts until PART D came along! I went to Walmart and my prescriptions were $200 a month cheaper! PUBLIX is not unto free or low prices! Somebody will pay!

IF YOU DON'T KNOW BY NOW, YOU SHOULD. PUBLIX IS SO OVERPRICED ON EVERYTHING ELSE, THEY'RE NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING FREE. BELIEVE WHAT YOUR PARENTS TOLD YOU....NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE!!!

The over prescribing of these same antibiotics has led to nasty things like flesh eating bacteria. This is very irresponsible of Publix, now people will be sure to have their doctor prescribe some of these "free" antibiotics "just in case", so eventually these antibiotics won't be able to kill anything.

Sounds like a good start towards h. clinton socialized medicine. Everything free.....

Even their deli fried chicken is way out of sight on price. Winn-Dixie stores may have rude help, but costs are more in line with the common bus driver.

NEWSFLASH TO ALL LIBERALS AND SOCIALISTS from an independent voter! NOTHING IN LIFE IS EVER FREE...from Publix, Walgreen's, Walmart, etc. I am not sure, but does not the Bible say that those who WORK shall eat? |

I love Publix!
Why get upset at Publix for an obvious advertising campaign. Giving "samples" has up to know been a trick used by Big Pharm to get you hooked on whatever brand they are peddling. Doctors give out samples routinely. That is an underhanded campaign by BPharm. I gave up on Win Dickme long ago. I boycot Wal Mart at every opportunity I have. They are killing local businesses left and right. Their service is atrocious! I never get out without being pissed off at their two open check out lanes and the rude people. I rather pay more money at some mom and pop store if I can. I no mom and pop, I will drive to the nearest Target even though there is a Super Walmart next door, |

Part "D" is a misnomer. It should be Part "F" for what they are doing to the elderly.
So it is the store's fault? How come nobody ever blames the big pharmaceutical companies who won't lower drug prices? Ever! What did they do instead? The lobbied our government until they cut our alternatives, such as buying from Canada (much cheaper). Wake up sheeple! Instead of curbing the insurance companies, our government has limited our ability to sue. |

the cheapest place to go for prescription drugs in costco and you don't have to be a member to use the pharmacy, that is the law.
if people don't shop around before having a script filled they are not very good consumers. i have found costco, target, and walmart to be the cheapest and as long as my insurance is good at all three locations i use whichever one has the best price. in addition, all of these stores are national chains so no matter where you go you can always get a script refilled when you are out of state. as far as prices, next time you compare the prices of name brand items without having to use some sort of store card, you will find that winn dixie and albertsons are usually higher than publix. if you are willing to always purchase store brands and use a saver card then you can probably do better at a winn dixie or albertsons. personally, all the winn dixie and albetsons stores close to me are filthy and smell and have some of the rudest employees. if i'm paying for better customer service by going to publix and getting a cleaner store, then so be it. |

Tran, Medei..........
Are there ANY Americans around, anywhere??? |

You obviously need to go to a "super" Wal-Mart and shop. Publix is way overpriced on everything. I was forced to buy milk at Publix yesterday and I felt like handing the clerk a gun so I would have the full experience of being robbed. |

YOU MEAN YOU ARE GIVING AWAY FREE...
IT MUST BE GOOD IF YOU ARE GIVING IT AWAY FREE |

Nothing worthwile is "free".antibiotics are very cheap. Publix will make up the "loss" on other products...

They have clean stores and good service. Who cares if you pay a little more. I'm Cuban and I hate Sedanos, El Presidente and all those "low price" supermarkets because they smell like sh*t. I think its great that as part of their advertising campaign Publix is giving away free drugs, if you dont like it, you can go to a Winn Dixie pharmacy and pay full price for them and get some meat from the "green meat" section while you're there.

Nothing is satisfying to you libs even when it's free. Everything is a big conspiracy theory. Everything is King George Bushs' fault. Go north or go south. Canada or Venezuela. We won't miss you.
And thanks Publix. I wouldn't shop anywhere else even if it was half the cost. |

yee haw, now if they could find some doctors that are worth a s h i t, then that would be a miracle.
