Ambien Sex

Hi, My wife started taking ambien recentl she would take it prior to bed but after about 15 - 20 but want to make love. Problem is (not on my side) she would do things that she would never do while not on it and them ask in the morning what we did....i had no idea about the amnisia of ambien until this site.

I had the same type of thing happen to me when I was on Ambien. My girlfriend said I would wake up in the middle of the night and act strange or have a weird conversation with myself for 5-10 minutes and then I would fall back asleep. I wouldn't remember a thing in the morning. We decided to try something a bit safer and found Melatonin (http://www.jigsawhealth.com/products/melatoni... ). It is a good supplement that helps get you to sleep and so far I have had no side effects. It is not quite as powerful as the prescription meds, but you also don't have to worry about the negative side effects.

My best friend started taking zolpidem the substitute for ambien. She was fine while on ambied but the zolpidem has put her in a state of euphoria. It is quite wierd. I can seriously sit there and talk to her and she had no inhibitions and will tell the absolute truth to any question that I ask her. She also strips and will run around the house stark naked. The next time we go to the doctor I'm going to have to tell him about these symptoms because it seems like a sleeping medicine shouldn't do that.

I personally like the effect. It gives me a release and sometimes a pretty good buz. But it is because my mind is so relaxed i can get all those things that happened during the day and not hold a grudge on them. It makes me happy with the decicions i made that day. When i wake up after sleep It really feels like a new day. That feeling you got when you were a child, when your next day was always new. Dont harp on yesterdays descisions they are gone. Only move with the new.

I have been taking Ambien for too long now and am physically and mentally adicted. I can feel my health is failing because of this medication and I take it anyway. Falling and staying asleep has been a problem for me my whole life and nothing works as well as Ambien. My wife is a very conservative southern lady. I am here to tell you the wildest, best, most memorable sex was when she was on Ambien. Unfortunately, I think that a tolerance develops. The situation only happened two or three times. She ultimately had to stop taking it because it caused severe depression.

Both my husband and I have been prescribed Ambien at different times and both of us are prone to uninhibited intimacy after taking Ambien. We have both used both Ambien and Ambien CR. Amnesia was much more common for us with regular Ambien while the Ambien CR left us with more clear recollections. Our experience has been that our judgement is not impacted by Ambien but we are more relaxed and not worrying about the "little things" (work, projects, deadlines, kids, bills, etc..)that tend to get in the way of long, involved, uninhibited intimacy. I have also used Ambien on long (12+ hours) international flights and have never behaved strangely or in a way that is our of character for my normal behavior.

The other night I apparently became very sexually aggressive towards my husband and doing some things I would never enev consider doing normally during sex. He did not like it and because he is so conservative, he actually said it was kinda scary. I have only one tiny flash of memory of what I did and it seems highly unlikely. However, this happened to me whild taking Zolpidem and has happened another time. Also, I have been married 10 years and apparently the other night I got up in the middle of the night and put an "AD" on a lesbian website! WHAT! I will never touch this stuff again. I have had some very serious other effects and thought I was losing my mind. It took a while to make a connection, duh. Be careful with it all inhibitions go out the window!

Ambien sex is a very real and odd side effect of the drug. It wasnt until the flight home from my honeymoon when I was apologizing to my new husband for the limited amount of sex on the trip did I learn about my "wildness". I have absolutely no recollection about any of it, but undoubtly I was a sexual goddess. I have also emailed, phoned and texted friends and family in the middle of the night after taking Ambien and not remember that either.

I am so shocked, this is the second time that my boyfriend who by the way is a doctor told me that we had incredibly SEX.. I do not have ANY recollection. He told me to Google amnestiatic effect from Ambien and here you are! Can this be real…both times the last thing I remember was turning over and falling asleep? My wife takes ambien regularly and it might as well be roofies she is taking. She doesn't start sex but once I get her a little hot she will let me do just about anything I want to her and she really gets into it. I must say its rather nice, she is always very awake and active when I am having my way with her. In the morning she is asks "did we have sex last night". I've told her again a week or two ago how much fun ambien sex is . She wishes that she remembered...:)

It's true. I've been married to a VERY conservative lady for 28 years. The best sex we've ever had has been on Ambien. It's saved our marriage. We hadn't had oral sex since before the wedding and now it's a regular thing for both of us. I wish it were my wife that took ambien, and not me. I don't take it regularly, so when I do, it retains most of the "first time " effects. Unlike most other people, I don't suffer form amnesia. I recall almost all of the events that occurred.

Typically, I'll become very affectionate and open, having great conversations with my wife and being extremely cuddly. Only problem is that she gets uber tired at night, so my amorous attempts are typically in vain.

It's a cruel world, but I smile vicariously through your great stories :) Except for oral sex in front of a hotel employee. That's kinda weird, not gonna lie.
